Access 12 months of monitoring data with the monitoring history report!
Download the monitoring history report to access and analyze the last 12 months of monitoring data. The ability to export 12 months of data reduces manually effort and supports in-depth analysis, progress reporting, and compliance tracking. With historical monitoring data, you can:
- Track progress over time.
- Identify how monitoring settings may impact the results.
- Investigate when problems were introduced.
- Verify accessibility efforts for regulation agents and reports.
Add wait time in advanced scans and monitoring
You can now add a custom wait time for advanced scans and monitoring. Setting a custom wait time ensures dynamic content is fully loaded before scanning and allows the crawler to find even more pages on your website.
SCIM user management is now available!
Customers with SSO can now manage their employee access without the manual process. SCIM centralizes user management within your identity provider (idP), meaning, the idP can automatically provision, update, and de-provision user accounts in the platform based on changes in the made in the idP. Once SCIM is configured, organization administrators must assign users to their user groups to give the user access to the platform.
Scan and monitoring exports now include remediation information
The “What to do” finding data is now available in scan and monitoring exports. This enhancement allows you to quickly access consolidated finding details without manually downloading and consolidating the data, so it’s easier to collaborate with developers and third-party partners.
Beta: Conformance score enhancements
Beta customers:

Can now view the conformance score for all uploaded evaluations. Previously, JSON and CSV evaluation uploads defaulted to In Progress, which prevented conformance score calculation. Now, evaluation uploads default to Completed.
- Now receive a toast notification confirming the outcome of creating tasks from the conformance score breakdown, indicating whether it was successful, unsuccessful, and/or tasks already exist.
Updates to Access Engine
The platform, browser extension, and testing SDKs now have Access Engine 2.26, which includes one new test, an updated test, and a bug fix.
Desktop Crawler App accessibility fixes
Several accessibility improvements have been applied to the Desktop Crawler App, including alternative text, screen reader announcements, descriptive text, and more.
Beta: Test accelerator enhancements and fixes
The test accelerator:
- Is now available for organization administrators, workspace administrators, and workspace users.
- Allows you to select an element inside a modal while completing an evaluation with browser extension.
- Shows a toast notification when you save a finding indicating a success or failure.
- Allows you to add comments under manual findings.
- Now has the new IBM rules.
- Now support screen readers announcing when:
- The browser extension opens a new window to log in via platform.

Beta customers can now create tasks from the Conformance tab on the Evaluations page!
Seamlessly turn evaluation findings into tasks from the Conformance tab on the evaluations page. You can now create tasks for all findings under each success criterion. Note that each finding in a success criterion creates one task in your project.

Other conformance score enhancements for beta customers
- The score breakdown now uses clearer language to help you understand what you’re doing right. The breakdown now differentiates between No finding success criterion with:
- No findings (fully supported): The success criterion applies to the page but there were no findings.

No findings (not applicable): The success criterion doesn’t apply to the page and consequently there were no findings.
Note that the new No findings statuses only applies to evaluations completed after this release.
- You can now find the conformance score on the evaluations list.
Platform navigation enhancements
The platform now retains navigation context so you can switch workspaces and digital properties without losing your place!
UserWay enhancement
UserWay integrations are now automatically removed when you archive a website.
Pre scan automated flows is now in beta!
Use pre scan automated flows to scan even more websites with less effort. Pre scan automated flows execute a series of user actions on your website before an accessibility scan starts. Since scanners can’t always get past things like pop-ups requesting information (for example, date of birth or state/province), the pre scan flows handle those blockers by automatically completing the required steps to access the content on your website. While the scanning and monitoring supports closing cookie popups, basic authentication, and secure web authentication, they don't cover all scenarios that may block you from scanning your website.

Platform dashboards and risk management status now include monitoring findings
We're excited to announce that we're enhancing the scope of the platform's dashboards and the risk management status to include monitoring findings. These changes will give you a better understanding of your website's accessibility and remediation progress.
Today our dashboards and the risk management status only considers finding data from evaluations and on-demand scans, but as of September 4th, 2024, they'll also include findings from monitoring. We're giving you more data to make your dashboards better reflect the status of your digital experiences.
Conformance score for evaluations is now in beta!
We’re excited to introduce the conformance score for evaluations is now in beta! A new way to measure accessibility that offers actionable insights to guide your remediation. Inspired by WCAG standards and the VPAT framework, this score aligns with industry benchmarks, making it easier to prioritize remediation efforts. In the Conformance report, you can prioritize findings, access recommendations, and drill-in to the score breakdowns—all in one place.

Access the Resource Center or request a service from the platform header
The Resource Center and service requests are now integrated into the platform header. Conveniently access the Help Center, product support, the product roadmap, and service request forms.
Mobile SDKs are now in beta
Mobile SDKs are now in beta! Developers can dive into enhanced accessibility testing on both Android and iOS platforms. With support for cross-platform tools like Appium, Android Studio, and Xcode, you can test the accessibility of your mobile apps throughout the development life cycle.

Updates to Access Engine
With Access Engine 2.25, we updated one test to reduce false positives, which may improve accessibility health scores in new scans. The affected tests are:

Enhancements to the Level Access browser extension
- You can now scan iframes without logging into the browser extension.
- The browser extension now supports Access Engine 2.24.
Navigation enhancements
We've made the following enhancements so you can get where you need with fewer steps:
- You now land on the Portfolio page when you switch workspaces rather than the dashboard.
- Website/app users can now access the portfolio. Note that the portfolio only lists the websites/apps you have access to.
- The program dashboard now has a table for recently visited workspaces! Select the workspace name to quickly navigate back to where you were working.

Scan secure environments with the Desktop Crawler App
The Level Access Desktop Crawler App is an accessibility testing tool that's available for Accelerate and Enterprise customers. Use the Desktop Crawler App to scan intranets and highly secure environments like websites with multi-factor authentication or biometrics. Easily download the Desktop Crawler App directly from the platform, so you can start scanning your secure environments.
Updates to Access Engine
With Access Engine 2.24, we updated two tests and removed one test to reduce false positives, which may improve accessibility health scores in new scans. The affected tests are:
- Updated Test 412: Added more ARIA roles.
- Removed Test 94: WCAG 2.2 no longer flags duplicate IDs as a fail case.
- Updated Test 1080: Now flags the use of both aria-checked and aria-selected in a single tree item.

You can now choose data intervals for your risk management trend chart on the Program dashboard!
Enterprise customers can now update their Risk management trend charts to different data intervals for more a more detailed analysis. View and analyze risk management status trends in a way that makes the most sense for your organization, so you can make informed decisions around your accessibility efforts over time. On the Program dashboard, you can choose from three data intervals:
- Weekly (default)
- Monthly
- Quarterly

Introducing the Organization report!
Save time by accessing organization data in one effortless step. We’ve automated data consolidation across your organization with the Organization report. The Organization report is a comprehensive report that includes data at the organization, workspace, and website/app level. Use the report to make informed decisions on your accessibility journey. You can download the report from your Program dashboard to use and share data outside of the platform.
Azure DevOps and Asana integrations now support additional field configuration
Enterprise customers can now configure additional fields on platform projects for their Azure DevOps and Asana connections. When you configure the additional fields, the platform automatically includes that information when you push tasks to your issue tracking platform. For example:
- Severity
- Priority
- Story points
Note: The platform doesn't currently support every Asana field. For example, standard Asana task fields such as Assignee, Due date, Project, or Dependencies.
Access Engine 2.23 is now available in platform
Access Engine 2.23 contains 20 updated rules and added two new rules to help reduce the number of false positives identified in scan reports.
Level Access browser extension enhancements
- You can now scan iFrames using the browser extension. Go to settings to find the new option.
- Various accessibility bug fixes including an improved experience for screen readers, where links with the same name display in multipage scans.

We’ve made important updates to our Jira integration. Reauthorize your connection with OAuth 2.0 to implement recent security and functionality upgrades.

- We’ve enhanced our existing Jira functionality, linking tasks to existing Jira issues, to support multiple tasks to multiple Jira issues.
- Evaluation finding exports now include a task ID option.
- There's now a notification to indicate a finding in the Shadow DOM for the Level Access browser extension and in-platform scans using Access Engine.

Level Access testing SDKs are now available for Accelerate and Enterprise customers
Level Access testing SDKs are now available for Accelerate and Enterprise customers! The testing SDKs allow you to integrate accessibility testing into your continuous integration (CI) pipeline.
Level Access testing SDKs integrate Access Engine with test automation frameworks, so you can run accessibility tests on code snippets, nodes of a page, or a fully-rendered page while you're running other automated tests that are a part of your quality gate.

Connect projects and tasks to your project management software so your teams can incorporate accessibility tasks into the tools they’re already using, keeping accessibility work on track without disrupting everyday workflows.

Jira integrations now support additional field configuration
Enterprise customers can now configure additional fields on platform projects for their Jira connections. When you configure the additional fields, the platform automatically includes that information when you push tasks to Jira. For example, Severity or Epic Link. The optional fields vary depending on your Jira project and issue type. Note that the platform doesn't support all Jira fields. For example, JSON items.
You can now import JSON files from the Chrome recorder extension to automated flows
Creating automated flows just got easier! Save time and reduce manual errors by recording your automated flow with the Chrome recorder extension and importing the JSON files to the platform.
Note that:
- The Chrome recorder accesses and saves all the information in the flow recording. You should:
- Always use test accounts for any log ins and never use your real accounts.
- Consult your IT security policies before recording any intellectual property.
- Always review the imported flow and make changes if necessary.
- You can’t currently import JSON files to existing automated flows.
Automated flows now supports the keystroke action
Automated flows now supports keystrokes. Test your flow using keystroke action such as single keystrokes and shift+tab.
Pages is now integrated with basic scans + other scan enhancements
- Use pages from your website/app repository when you run a basic scan or run a basic scan on a URL and save the page to the repository so you can use it next time.
- The scans modal is now a slide out panel.

The platform now supports up to 5k monitoring pages
The platform can now run and show monitoring results on websites up to 5000 pages for Enterprise customers!

Visualize risk with the risk management status bar
The risk management status is only available for Enterprise customers on the Program dashboard and beta participants on the Dashboard and Overview.
The risk management status now shows a visual representation of risk in addition to the status. The risk management status uses a stepper to help you visualize your status and where you stand compared to the other statuses.
Close cookie popups on advanced scans
You can now configure your advanced scans to close cookie popups. Use this functionality to bypass cookie popups that are preventing successful scans.
Create a project while creating a task for design and manual evaluations
Streamline your project management flow with the ability to create a new project while you’re creating a task from a design or manual evaluation. This enhancement is was introduced for scans in January and is now expanded to design and manual evaluations to standardize the your experience.
Introducing the multi-step sign up flow!
New platform users are now introduced to the platform with the new multi-step sign up flow! The new multi-step sign up flow guides you through the account sign up process and introduces you to the platform.

Introducing Access Engine 2.22
Access Engine 2.22 contains 16 updated rules to help reduce the number of false positives identified in scan reports.
Request validation testing in-platform
Seamlessly request validation testing without leaving the platform. You can now request validation testing on tasks created from manual findings with the status Requires review. Let the platform gather most of the request data, so you can get more done with an uninterrupted workflow.
Level Access browser extension enhancements
- You no longer have to toggle on the browser extension. The extension is ready to use as soon as you select it from the extensions menu.
- We’ve added an icon bar to the left side of the extension. The icons include:
- Home: Use this page to choose scan options and log into the extension.
- Quick scan: Use quick scan to scan a single page and view the results in the browser extension.
- Scan multiple pages: Scan multiple pages and send the results to the platform.
- Keyboard shortcuts: Coming soon!
- Profile: View your personal details and log out of the extension.
Other enhancements
- You can now filter users by workspace or website/app in the Organization settings.
- You can now go back and add a URL to an automated flow that doesn’t have one.
