Feature highlight video: Test Accelerator Introduction and Overview
On this page:
What's a custom severity?
The platform has three predefined severity levels (Critical, High, and Low). You can add also custom severity levels to create a more tailored approach to prioritizing and addressing issues.
Specifically, you can:
- Create up to two additional severity levels alongside the three existing levels (Critical, High, and Low), for self-performed evaluations. For details, refer to Add a custom severity.
- Rename the three existing severity levels.
- Edit or delete a custom severity.
With these customization options, you can prioritize findings with greater precision, aligning them with your organization's specific priorities and workflows.
Note: Custom severities rank between low and high severity. If you have two custom severities, you can adjust their order by selecting Rank down or Rank up. While you can rename the existing severities, you can't change their rank. While defining custom severities, always keep in mind that the severity's rank and associated evaluation findings impact the conformance score and risk management status.
Where can I apply custom severities?
Custom severities can be applied to:
- Custom rules.
- New findings from self-performed evaluations using the Test Accelerator.
- Existing findings from self-performed evaluations using the Test Accelerator.
- Live app testing scan results
