New navigation system is here!
We’ve introduced an updated navigation experience in the Level Access Platform to support how the platform has grown, and how our users use it today.
As the platform has grown to include new tools and capabilities such as Ask Level AI, Common Findings, Reporting Agent, Level CI, On-Device Testing, and Scanning Outpost, we saw an opportunity to evolve how everything is organized. By listening closely to customer feedback, we used those insights to create a navigation that’s even more intuitive, faster to use, and better aligned with real workflows.
What’s changed (and why)?
When you log in to the Level Access Platform, you’ll observe a new vertical navigation menu on the left side of the screen.
As the platform has grown, customer feedback and research highlighted opportunities to make tools easier to access, and new workflows easier to move through. We used those insights to reorganize navigation around the work users were doing everyday, and to refine menu names so they’re clearer and more explicit.
The new navigation is designed to help you:
- Find what you need faster
- Move between related tasks more easily
- Stay oriented as you work across the platform
Note: Menu options might vary based on your user group, digital asset type, and assigned permissions. Only users with the appropriate permissions can access all the features and menu options.
What to expect during the transition
The new vertical navigation experience is on by default, but for a limited time you can switch between the new vertical navigation and the previous experience.
Important timing note:
- You will be able to toggle between the new and old navigation until mid-July, 2026, approximately 90 days after the navigation refresh was first introduced in April.
- After this transition period, the option to return to the old navigation will be removed, and the new navigation will become the default experience
We recommend spending time with the updated navigation now so that it feels familiar before the transition is complete.
