Supported digital asset types
The platform supports multiple asset types. The key differences lie between website and non-website digital assets.
- Website digital assets have all scan functionalities which include on-demand scans, monitoring, component testing, automated flows, and the browser extension.

Non-website digital assets don't have scanning functionalities or scan rules. Like websites, they do have evaluations, design evaluations, project management capabilities, and tools and integrations. They include:

- iOS app: Native applications for Apple devices.
- Android app: Native applications for Android devices.
- Wireframe: Visual representations or mockups of a digital product.
- Hardware: Digital kiosks, gaming consoles, TVs, and similar devices.
- Other: Digital assets that don't fall into the above categories. For example, PDF files.

Note that some platform features are only available in certain packages.
How to identify digital asset types
You can identify the type of a digital asset in the following ways:

From the Portfolio view:
Open the Portfolio of digital assets. The asset type is displayed next to each asset’s name. For more information, go to Using the portfolio. -
From the switcher:
The icon shown in the switcher indicates the type of digital asset that you can select.
