Edit or archive an evaluation

Who can use this feature?

• Organization administrators.
• Available for Essentials+, Accelerate+, and Enterprise+.

You can edit the scope of an evaluation, or archive an evaluation. Archived evaluations cannot be restored.

Edit an evaluation

You may need to edit your evaluation if you make a mistake or its scope changes.

What you need to know about evaluation editing

Depending on your role or how the evaluation was created, you might be able to edit more or less information. 

• Evaluations uploaded by our accessibility specialists have a more limited set of editing  options. For example,  edit evaluation name, testing medium, and accessibility standard. 
• Evaluations you create using the Test Accelerator have a broader set of editing options. For example, you can edit the scope of the evaluation, as well as add, rearrange or remove evaluation pages. 

Begin editing an evaluation

To edit an evaluation from the Digital assets page: 

1. Go to Digital assets.
2. Select the digital asset you'd like to review.
3. Select Evaluations.
4. Select the evaluation you want to edit. 
5. From the three-dot action menu, select Edit. The Edit evaluation screen is displayed. 
6. Modify evaluation details as needed. For example, evaluation name and testing medium. If the evaluation is created through Test Accelerator, you can also edit the accessibility standard. 

Select standard(s) that were applied in the initial evaluation request. Selecting a standard that has not been applied to the original evaluation will result in missing data.

7. Edit the scope (add, reorder, or remove pages; add components).  This option might not be available to you, depending on the type of evaluation. 
8. Select Save.

Add pages to the evaluation

To add pages:

1. Select Add pages to the evaluation.
2. Choose the pages you want to test or select Add page to create new pages.
3. Choose Add to evaluation.
4. If you want to associate components to the pages:
   1. Select Add components.
   2. Choose the components you want to add.
   3. Select Add to evaluation.
5. Select Save.

Remove pages from the evaluation

To remove pages:

1. Find the page you want to remove.
2. Select the three-dot action menu.
3. Choose Remove.

Reorder pages in the evaluation

To reorder pages:

1. Find the page you want to move.
2. Select the three-dot action menu.
3. Choose Move up or Move down.

Archive an evaluation

Once you archive an evaluation, you cannot restore it. The action cannot be undone. 

To archive an evaluation: 

1. Go to Digital assets.
2. Select the digital asset you'd like to review.
3. Select Evaluations.
4. Select the evaluation you want to archive. 
5. From the three-dot action menu, select Archive. The Archive evaluation screen is displayed. 
6. Confirm that you want to archive the evaluation (this action cannot be undone). Perform this two-step task to do so: 
   1. Type the following instruction: Yes I would like to archive this manual evaluation now. 
   2. Select Archive evaluation.
