Manual finding statuses on the platform
Manual finding statuses are split into two groups: resolved and unresolved.
Resolved finding statuses
This table describes the resolved manual finding statuses used on the platform.
Data | Description |
---|---|
Fixed |
A fixed finding has been properly remediated and is no longer an issue. |
Not reproducible |
A finding that’s not reproducible can no longer be produced on the page. It’s likely that the digital property has been changed or updated and the finding is no longer relevant. |
Dismissed |
A finding marked as dismissed does not apply to your digital property or is no longer considered an accessibility issue. |
Unresolved finding statuses
This table describes the unresolved manual finding statuses used on the platform.
Data | Description |
---|---|
Open |
An open finding is a new finding that has not yet been re-tested by our team. Once you remediate an open finding and submit it for review, the status will be updated to one of the below options. |
Partially fixed |
A partially fixed finding has either been partially resolved or the remediation efforts have introduced a new issue. |
Not fixed |
A finding marked as not fixed has not been properly remediated. |
Cannot be fixed |
A finding that cannot be fixed might be connected to your branding or a third-party vendor. In other words, it’s likely a component that your accessibility team doesn't have control over. If the finding is related to a third-party vendor, we recommend working with the vendor to remediate. |
