Request validation testing from the platform

Who can use this feature?

• Organization administrators, workspace administrators, and workspace users.
• Available for the Accelerate and Enterprise packages. Also, for the Essential package with the Integrations add-on.

You can request validation testing of evaluation findings in one of the two ways:

• From the support portal.
• From the platform (from the Projects/tasks tab) 

This topic describes how to request validation testing from the platform, for a single  workspace.

Prerequisites

Before requesting validation testing, you'll need:

• Available user flow tests
• Tasks created from manual findings with the status Requires review. 

Note: The validation procedure applies to a single workspace. If you are managing multiple workspaces, you must repeat the same procedure for each workspace. If you have any questions about your available user flow tests, contact your CSM. 

Request validation testing via Projects/tasks

To request validation testing from the platform (for the current workspace):

1. Navigate to the workspace level. 
2. Under Find and Fix, select Projects and tasks. The Project tab is displayed. 
3. Select Validate tasks.
4. Select the tasks you want to validate (created from manual findings with the status Requires review).
5. Select Validate tasks.
6. Choose the testing environment.
7. Enter any additional details such as URLs, user credentials, or passcodes.
8. Attach any files.
9. Select Submit. The task progress will update to Review in progress.
