Duplicate automated findings in the platform are consolidated in to a single unified record. This update ensures data accuracy: your dashboards, reports, and task workflows reflect the true number of accessibility issues in your program.

Findings counts
Duplicate automated findings are now merged into one unified finding. The latest status (open, dismissed, re-opened, or closed) is preserved.
This improvement updates the following areas:
- Dashboards
- Reports
- Common Findings
- Digital Asset findings
- Findings detail pages
- Tasks
You may see:
- Lower total findings counts
- Updated status percentages
- Changes to trend lines and summaries
These changes reflect more accurate metrics, not a reduction in coverage.
Tasks
When duplicate findings are consolidated:
Tasks linked to multiple duplicate findings now show one linked finding.
Some tasks may remain open but no longer show linked findings if the duplicates were merged elsewhere.
- Older attachments (like CSV exports or Jira attachments) may still include outdated finding IDs because attachments are not updated automatically.
Finding statuses remain correct and carry forward into the unified record.
Historical trend data
While we refresh the dataset, historical trend views in certain dashboards and reports are temporarily unavailable. These views return with fully updated data when our next Findings Analytics release becomes available.
Affected data:
- Organization Report (Organization tab)
- Risk Management charts
All other views remain available.
What doesn’t change
The following are not affected by this update:
- Health Score
- Conformance Score
- Manual Evaluations
- PDF reports
- Design evaluations
- Scan results (Monitoring, SDKs, Browser Extension, User Flows)
- Reporting Agent data
Why This Matters
This feature has the following benefits:
- Cleaner data: Your findings now better reflect actual accessibility issues—without duplicates or inflated counts.
- Clearer priorities: Teams can focus on what needs attention first.
- Better momentum: Accurate findings reduce rework and make it easier to track and demonstrate progress.
What to expect
Due to this feature, you might see:
- Reduced total findings
- Updated dashboards and reports
- Tasks with fewer or no linked findings
- Temporary gaps in historical trend data
These changes are normal and indicate that your dataset now reflects a more accurate view of your accessibility posture.
