Our team can create (upload) a file associated with a specific digital asset. You can view and download the files.

Supported file types
These file types can be uploaded:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Portable Document Format (PDF)
- OpenDocument Text
- OpenDocument Spreadsheet
Create a new file (upload a new file)
Our team members can upload a new file, and specify file details.
To create (upload) a new file:
- Navigate to the digital asset.
- Under Manage, select Files.
- Select the Create a new file link.
- Enter the file details. For more information, review File details.
- Drag and drop the file in to the available Files box.
- Select Create.
View file details
Platform users can view available files and their details.
To view file details:
- Choose the digital asset where the files are located.
- Under Manage, select Files.
- Find the document you want to view and select the three-dot action menu.
- Choose View. The View File page is displayed.
- Review the file details.
- Select Return, to go back to the Files page.
Download a file
Platform users can download available files and their details.
To download a file:
- Choose the digital asset where the files are located.
- Under Manage, select Files.
- Find the document you want to download, and then select the file type icon in the Files column. A download begins automatically.
To download a file from the View File page:
- Choose the digital asset where the files are located.
- Under Manage, select Files.
- Find the document you want to download, and then select the three-dot action menu.
- Choose View. The View File page is displayed.
- Under Current files, select the file name. A download begins automatically.
File details
To upload a new file or access an uploaded file, navigate to the digital asset, and under Manage, select Files.
Note: Some details are available only when you view and edit the file. Some are available only during file creation (upload).

| Title | Enter the name of the file. |
| Status* |
Describes the status of the file in the file workflow. Select one of the available options:

| Created at | Date when the file was created. Available when you view file details. Added after you create a file. |
| Delivery date | Date when the file is delivered. Combine this value with the selected status). For example, if you select Complete status and delivery date 2025-11-17, this will indicate that the file was completed on November 17, 2025. |
| Description | Enter file description. |
| Files | Drag and drop files in to the available Files box. |
| Select or add one or more workspace users to email the file notification. |
Available when you edit file details or create new file. Type the name of the workspace users that need to receive email notifications about the file. The user email address is added automatically, underneath the text box. They will receive a platform notification when a new file is created or updated. Learn how to manage notifications.
