The Scan results page shows a summary of all findings from an automated scan. The Report table breaks down findings by conformance level and severity to help you prioritize your remediation efforts.
View the Scan results page
To view the Scan results page:
- Go to Websites/apps.
- Choose the website.
- Select Scans.
- From the Scans tab, find the scan you want to view.
- Select Scan results.
Scans results page data
The following data are shown on the Scan results page:
Data | Description |

Scan metadata |
Scan details such as scan title, scan tag, date and time the scan was completed, viewport, conformance level used, number of pages included, and accessibility scanning. |
Accessibility health |
A measure of accessibility based on the results of the scan. Learn how the accessibility health score is calculated. For monitoring scans, you’ll also see how the current score compares to the previous monitoring score. |
Findings by conformance level |
The number of rules evaluated within each Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) conformance level and the total number of findings from each. Learn more about conformance levels. |
Findings by severity |
The total number of findings, broken down by severity. Learn more about issue severity. |
Report: View by Rule selected |
Shows all rules that were evaluated during the scan. How the rules are grouped depends on the testing tool you use to view results. To view the specific findings within any rule, select the rule description. This will take you to the Findings details page. |
Report: View by Rule>Failed selected |
Shows all the rules that returned at least one finding. It also shows the success criteria and conformance level associated with the rule, the severity of the rule, the number of open findings, and the number of dismissed findings. |
Report: View by Rule>Failed>Manual Review Required heading |
Lists findings that are potential accessibility issues associated with WCAG. Manually review these findings to confirm accuracy. This sub-section of failed tests makes it easier to dismiss and avoid false positives. |
Report: View by Rule>Flagged for Review selected |
Shows accessibility concerns that are not directly associated with WCAG standards. Fixing these findings will improve the accessibility and usability of your website. |
Report: View by Rule>Passed selected |
Shows the rules that were tested on the page but did not result in any findings. Also shows the number of elements that were evaluated against each rule and passed. |
Report: Recommendations |
Shows the findings related to accessibility best practices. Note that recommendations aren’t associated with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) success criteria. Note: Only available when viewed with the WAVE testing tool with View by Rule selected. |
Report: View by Page selected |
Shows all the scanned pages, their accessibility health score, and the number of findings by finding status. The finding statuses are open, dismissed, failed findings, and require review. |
Report: View by Component selected |
Shows the number of findings that are open, dismissed, failed, and requires review for each component found during the scan. Learn more about components. |
