Search for a test
Use Search test to find a rule or test using information related to the accessibility issue you’re evaluating.
You can search by:
- Rule ID
- Rule name
- Test name
- Success criterion
- WCAG reference
- Category
- Actual result
- Recommendation
- Steps to reproduce
- User impact
You don’t need to know the exact rule ID or rule name. Enter terms that describe the issue or testing information you’re looking for.
Review search results
Enter your search terms to view matching tests. Each result displays the Rule name as the primary link and includes information about why the result matched your search.
Search results are paginated when multiple matching tests are available.
Select a rule to open its test details. If you return to the search results, Test Accelerator preserves your search so you can continue reviewing results.
Use AI recommendations
When you search for a test, Test Accelerator can also provide AI-powered recommendations based on your search.
AI recommendations appear above the standard search results and may continue loading after the standard results are available.
Recommendations can include:
- A matching rule or test.
- The confidence of the recommendation.
- A rationale for the recommendation.
- Alternative matches when available.
AI recommendations only use rules available for the selected evaluation’s test guide, medium, and accessibility standards. For example, recommendations for an evaluation configured for WCAG Level A remain within the standards available to that evaluation.
Use AI recommendations to help identify relevant tests, and review the recommended rule to determine whether it applies to the issue you’re evaluating.
Rate an AI recommendation
Use the Good or Bad feedback control to rate the usefulness of an AI recommendation.
You can change or remove your rating while you remain on the page.
Search for a page
Use search on the Pages tab to quickly locate a page in larger manual evaluations.
You can search by:
- URL
- Page name
- Description
Matching page cards can include screenshots, descriptions, and component information to help you identify the page you need.
Select a page to continue testing. If a page includes a screenshot, select the screenshot to view a larger version.
