Reset and set user passwords

AMP Organization and System Administrators can send a password reset link to the user, or set a new password for the user.

Send a reset password email

Reset password links expire after 30 minutes.

To send a reset password email to a user:

1. Select Administration.
2. In the User Name field, search for the user you want to assist and choose their name.
3. Select Reset Password.
4. Choose Submit to send the reset password email.

Set a new password

Use this method only if the user isn't receiving the reset password emails. For security purposes, ensure the user sets their own password once they log in.

To set a new password for a user:

1. Select Administration.
2. In the User Name field, search for the user you want to assist and choose their name.
3. Select Set Password.
4. Enter a new password for the user. The password must meet the listed criteria.
5. Choose Submit.
