You can push tasks to Asana while creating a task or you can retroactively push tasks to Asana from a project.

Push task(s) to Asana from a project
Push one task
To push one task to Asana:
- Go to Projects/tasks.
- Find the project you want to open and select View project.
- Find the task you want to push.
- In the Linked ticket column, select Push to Asana. A pop-up will open.
- Select Push.
It may take a few minutes for a task to be successfully pushed to Asana.
Push multiple tasks
To push multiple tasks to Asana:
- Go to Projects/tasks.
- Find the project you want to open and select View project.
- Using the checkboxes, choose each task you want to push to Asana.
- Select Push to Asana. A pop-up will open.
- Select Push.
It may take a few minutes for a task to be successfully pushed to Asana.
Push a task to Asana from task details
To push a task to Asana from the Task details page:
- Go to Projects/tasks.
- Find the project you want to open and select View project.
- Find the task you want to push and choose the task ID.
- Select Push to Asana. A pop-up will open.
- Select Push.
It may take a few minutes for a task to be successfully pushed to Asana.
What information gets pushed to and pulled from Asana?
Note: The platform can't identify attachments in Asana comments. If an Asana comment has text and an attachment, only the text will sync with the platform. If the Asana comment only has an attachment, the comment will sync as an empty comment on the task.
