The platform now supports multi-factor authentication. Use multi-factor authentication to increase the security of your account. Multi-factor authentication is often a key component used to comply with an organization’s security and access management policies. Multi-factor authentication will enhance your profile security by requiring you to identify yourself using more than a username and password.
Note: Multi-factor authentication is an optional feature and can be turned on or off at any time.

Turn on multi-factor authentication
Note: You need an authenticator application on your iPhone or Android to turn on multi-factor authentication, for example, Google Authenticator. If you don’t have one already, download an authenticator application before proceeding with the steps below.
To turn on multi-factor authentication:
- In the platform header, select Profile and choose Profile.
- On the Details tab, select Turn on MFA. A dialog box will open with a QR code and a security code field.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator application.
- On the authenticator application, choose Scan a QR code and scan the QR code. The application will give you a security code.
- Enter the security code in the platform.
- Choose Continue.
- Select Save changes.
Log in to the platform with multi-factor authentication
To log into the platform with multi-factor authentication:
- Go to the platform.
- Enter your log in details.
- Select Login.
- On your phone, open the authenticator app used to enable multi-factor authentication.
- Enter the security code from the authenticator app.
- Select Login.
Turn off your multi-factor authentication
To turn off your multi-factor authentication:
- In the platform header, select Profile.
- Choose Profile.
- Next to Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), select Remove.
- Choose Ok.
- Select Save changes.
Turn off another user's multi-factor authentication
Note:
- Only organization administrators and workspace administrators can turn off other users’ multi-factor authentication.
- You can’t turn on other users' multi-factor authentication.
To turn off another user's multi-factor authentication:
- From the Control hub, go to Organization settings.
- Find the user and select the three-dot action menu.
- Choose Edit.
- Next to Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), select Remove.
- Choose Ok.
- Select Save changes.
