The "Grant access to all assets" permission gives a user access to all existing assets in the organization. There are two "Grant access to all assets" options:
- Grant access to all assets retroactively: Gives the user access to all the assets in an organization.
- Grant access to all future assets: Gives the user access to all assets created after the option is selected.
The extent of their access varies based on their platform licensing. Grant access to all assets gives:
- Licensed users edit access to all assets.
- Unlicensed users view access to all assets.
Access to all assets is designed for Standard Users and Viewer Users. Only System Administrators can grant this permission.
This permission gives the user access to all current assets at the time the permission is granted. The user won't have access to assets created after the permission is granted.
