OAuth is an authentication protocol that allows you to grant Level Access products access to your Jira connection.
New Jira connections and Jira Cloud users should use OAuth 2.0 if supported, as it creates a more secure connection. We'll continue to support new and existing connections between Level Access and Jira using OAuth 1.0.
You can't upgrade an existing OAuth 1.0 connection to an OAuth 2.0 connection. If you want to upgrade your connection, you'll have to delete your current connection. This severs the link between all Level Access Platform tasks and the corresponding Jira tasks. You'll need to relink your tasks when you set up your new connection.
