- Organization administrators and workspace administrators.
- Available for the Accelerate and Enterprise packages. Available as an add-on purchase within the Essentials package.
Changing the status of a scan rule to “On” or “Off” impacts what data is collected during automated scans on a specific digital asset. When you turn a rule off, no data will be collected for that rule when you run a new scan.

Turn rules off
To turn rules off:
- Navigate to the workspace level.
- Under Workspace, select Digital assets. The Digital asset portfolio is displayed.
- Select a digital asset.
- Under Manage, select Digital asset settings, and then select Scan rules.
- Select the checkbox for each rule you would like to turn off.
- Select Turn off rule(s).
- Enter a reason for turning the rule off.
- Select Ignore rule(s). Where can I find the past activity of a particular rule?
Turn rules on
To turn rules on:
- Navigate to the workspace level.
- Under Workspace, select Digital assets. The Digital asset portfolio is displayed.
- Select a digital asset.
- Under Manage, select Digital asset settings, and then select Scan rules.
- Select the checkbox for each rule you would like to turn on.
- Select Turn on rule(s).
- Enter a reason for turning the rule back on.
- Select Include rule(s).
