Request manual testing

A core offering at Level Access is manual testing of webpages, user flows, and components. Manual testing is performed by Level Access testers, which include people with disabilities. You can find the results of manual tests in the platform under Evaluations.

To get started with manual testing, your organization must be signed up with the platform. If you’re not signed up, contact us.

Request manual testing

To request manual testing on a website/app:

    1. Log in to the platform.
    2. Select Help.
    3. Choose Submit help ticket.
    4. Under Testing, choose:
      • Manual testing to test specific or core parts of your digital property.
      • Validation of fixes to re-test fixes you’ve implemented.
      • Full manual test to test the representative set of pages and flows determined by the Level Access team.
    5. Fill in the details about your digital asset.
    6. Select Submit. A member of our support team will contact you to confirm any missing details.

Modules The individual pieces of the manual test scope.
  • Header (including a search bar or other search functionality shown in the header)
  • A page view that includes 1 complex and/or interactive element
  • Up to four complex and/or interactive elements on a single page or view
Complex/Interactive elements A component of a website or app that is more than a simple image or text.
  • Carousel: displays information in a set of elements that can slide, fade, or somehow move into view. It can be a slideshow of images, texts, videos, or a combination of these.
  • Overlay: a content box that appears on top of a page and obscures the background content. They're also called website pop-ups, lightbox pop-ups, modals, or lightboxes.
  • Tabs: a navigation resource that offers small, clickable labels that open content in a new webpage or the same page.
