Download the Desktop Crawler App for platform

Download the Desktop Crawler App for Windows

To download the Desktop Crawler App for Windows using Microsoft Edge:

1. Navigate to the organizational level. 
2. Under Manage, select Tools & Integrations.  
3. Choose Tools & Extensions.
4. Find the Desktop Crawler App.
5. Select Download installer for Windows. The progress bar opens, asking you to make sure that you trust the DesktopCrawlerApp.msi file.
6. Select the three-dot action menu in the top corner of the progress bar. 
7. Select Keep. A new message opens, prompting you to reconfirm your choice
8. Select Keep anyway. The DesktopCrawlerApp.msi file is downloaded to your desktop.
9. Run the DesktopCrawlerApp.msi file to install the application. 

To download the Desktop Crawler App for Windows using Google Chrome:

1. Navigate to the organizational level. 
2. Under Manage, select Tools & Integrations.  
3. Choose Tools & Extensions.
4. Find the Desktop Crawler App.
5. Select Download installer for Windows.  The installer is downloaded.
6. Run the installer. A message opens. 
7. Select More info. 
8. Select Run anyway to install the application.

You can now log in to the app with your organization URL and API token.

Note: some IT departments do not allow downloading of unsigned .msi files. In this situation, ask the IT administrator to add an exception to your machine.

Once the installation is complete, you can log in to the Desktop Crawler App and start scanning!

Download the Desktop Crawler App for Mac

To download the Desktop Crawler App for Mac:

1. Navigate to the organizational level. 
2. Under Manage, select Tools & Integrations.  
3. Choose Tools & Extensions.
4. Find the Desktop Crawler App.
5. Select Download installer for Mac.
6. Open the installer on your computer and follow the installation instructions.

Once the installation is complete, you can log in to the Desktop Crawler App and start scanning!
