Finding and fixing accessibility issues in the design phase lowers remediation costs, mitigates legal risk, and saves you time. The Figma plugin tells you exactly what’s wrong with the component and how to fix it, so you can learn accessible design practices along the way.

Requirements

To use the Figma plugin, you need:

• Figma desktop application.
• A platform user.
• An API key. Learn more about generating an API key.

Install the Figma plugin

To install the Figma plugin:

1. Go to the Figma marketplace.
2. Select Try it out. 
3. Select Resources.
4. Find the plugin and choose Run.
5. Select Login now.
6. Enter the:
   • Platform URL. For example, https://organization.hub.essentia11y.com/
   • API key. Learn more about generating a tenant API key.
7. Select Login.
