Install a Figma plugin of your choice

Use the plugins to effortlessly find and fix accessibility issues during the design phase. We offer the following plugins: 

• Level Access Design Companion
• Level Access Figma Plugin (Lite)

Requirements

• Figma desktop application.
  • A platform user.
• An API key. Learn more about generating an API key.

Install the Level Design Companion from the platform

Level Access Design Companion is our default Figma plugin. The following procedure describes how to install it from the platform.

To install a Level Access Design companion from the platform: 

1. Log in to the platform. 
2. Navigate to the organizational level.
3. Select Tools and Integrations. 
4. Select Tools & Extensions.
5. Find and select Open in Figma Community button.  You are redirected to Level Access Design Companion | Figma, in the Figma marketplace. 

Note: The remaining instructions describe Figma marketplace installation workflow, which might be subject to change. Refer to Figma documentation, for latest updates.

6. Select Open in.
7. Select a Figma file where you want to use the plugin. If you have no Figma files available, select +New, and then add it. 
8. Select Run. The Login screen is displayed. 
9. Enter these login details:
   1. Platform URL. For example, https://organization.hub.essentia11y.com/
   2. API key. Learn more about generating an organization API key.
10. Select Login.

Note: If you want to install Level Access Figma Plugin (Lite), search for it in the Figma marketplace , select it, and then follow the on-screen prompts to install it.

Install the Figma plugins from the Figma marketplace  

To install a chosen Level Access Figma plugin without logging in to the platform:

1. In the Figma marketplace search for the plugin of your choice:
   1.  Level Access Design Companion. 
   2. Level Access Figma Plugin (Lite) 
2. Select Open in.
3.  Follow the on-screen prompts. For details, refer to relevant steps under Install the Level Design Companion from the platform.

Access Level Access plugins from a Figma file

You can access our plugins from your Figma file.

1. Open a Figma file. 
2. Right-click, and from the Plugins menu, select the plugin of your choice:
   1. Level Access Design Companion. 
   2. Level Access Figma Plugin (Lite) 
3. Follow-on screen prompts to complete the procedure.
