The Finding details page explains each design evaluation finding and provides recommendations for remediation.

Go to the Finding details page
To go to the Finding details page:
- Go to Websites/apps.
- Select the website or app you'd like to review.
- Choose Design.
- Find the design evaluation you want to work within and select it.
- Select a screen with open findings.
- Select the Finding ID.
Finding details data
The table below describes the information from the Finding details page.

Share |
Use the link to share the finding with your team. |
Create task |
Create a task from the finding. Learn more about creating a task. |
Status |
Update the status of the finding. Learn more about finding statuses. |
Highlight |
A link to the Screens tab with the highlighted finding. |
Rule ID | The ID of the violated rule. |
Finding type | Relates to the design process and/or design. The finding type tells you where the issue comes from in the design or design process. Learn more about finding types. |
Screen |
The file name of the screen with the finding. |
Finding | The rule violation. |
Global Finding |
The finding has multiple instances across the design evaluation. Note: Only displays if the evaluator marks the finding as Global. |
Applies to | The element of the design the finding applies to. |
Category of finding | Relates to the user. The category of finding tells you how the finding affects the user experience. |
WCAG success criterion | Name of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) success criterion associated with the rule. |
Level | Level of the WCAG success criterion associated with the rule. |
Version | Version of the WCAG success criterion associated with the rule. |
Success criterion short description | Short description of the violated WCAG success criterion. |
Recommendation | Recommendation to fix the violation by role in the design process. Learn more about remediation recommendations. |
Evaluator notes | Any notes applicable to the finding from the evaluator. |
Comments and activity | Add comments and view a running log of all changes made to the finding. Learn more about comments and activity. |
Comments and activity
The findings details page includes a comment and activity feed. You and your team can add comments and view a running log of all changes made to the finding for later reference.
You can also choose to delete your comments. You can't delete comments made by another user.
The activity feed includes:
- Issue creation
- Comments left on issues
- Changes to issue status
