Level Access Desktop Crawler App (DCA) lets you crawl a website to automatically test its pages for accessibility issues. It uses the rights and privileges of the currently running browser so it can access sites that might otherwise be unreachable due to authentication requirements or network connectivity. It can handle websites with more complex authentication like multi-factor authentication or biometrics.
That is, using the connectivity to your network, this tool can locally scan any website you have access to on your workstation, and then send the results to the platform for review and remediation.
For example, if you log into a site using Microsoft Edge, DCA will be able to access and test whatever pages you can normally access on that site because it uses your browser credentials to get there.
The Desktop Crawler App is available for:
- FedRAMP AMP customers.
- Windows 10 and 11.
- ARM Macs.
