The Accessibility Champion Program is designed to promote and cultivate accessibility champions within your organization. The program currently comprises of two levels of achievement, each with its own set of responsibilities, tasks, and benefits. Each level includes a certificate reward upon completion.

Level 1: Accessibility Foundations
The initial stage of the program aims to educate individuals about the significance of accessibility and inspire them to become Accessibility Champions. Those who enroll in this level will receive instruction on the basics of accessibility and will be required to undertake a series of knowledge assessments to showcase their comprehension of the discussed topics. After successfully fulfilling the requirements of level 1, participants will receive an Accessibility Foundations certificate.
To earn the Accessibility Foundations certificate, participants must successfully complete these requirements:

Introduction to Digital Accessibility (30 mins)

Assistive Technologies (30 mins)

WCAG Overview (60 mins)

Global Accessibility Laws (25 mins)

Disability Etiquette (30 mins)

Learning the fundamentals of accessibility testing (30 mins)

Understanding Accessible Design (60 mins)

Demonstrate an advanced understanding of accessibility through completion of Accessibility Foundations Certification Test (min score of 80%).
Level 2: Accessibility Practitioner
The program's second level is designed for individuals who have completed level 1 and are ready to take their accessibility understanding to the next level. Accessibility Practitioners will receive advanced training on accessibility and will be expected to complete more complex tasks. These may include developing and implementing accessibility plans, training others on accessibility, or leading accessibility-related initiatives within their teams or departments. After successfully fulfilling the requirements of level 2, participants will receive an Accessibility Practitioner certificate.
To earn the Accessibility Practitioner certificate, participants must successfully complete the following requirements:

Planning Accessible Remote Meetings (25 mins)

Demonstrate an advanced understanding of accessibility through completion of Accessibility Practitioner Certification Test (min score of 80%).
