View scan rules for an automated testing tool

During an automated scan, each accessibility testing tool on the platform evaluates the scanned pages against a set of rules. Each tool has a unique rule set, but all rules come from success criteria in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). You can view the scan rules for all testing tools on the Scan rules page.

To go to the rule set for a specific testing tool:

1. Go to Websites/apps.
2. Select your website.
3. Select Scan settings.
4. Choose Scan rules.
5. In the Filters pane, choose the testing tool from the Tool dropdown menu.

You can hide or reveal rules by selecting or deselecting criteria in the filters pane.
