eSSENTIAL Accessibility has merged with Level Access and adopted the Level Access name, so if you are a long-time eSSENTIAL Accessibility customer, you’ll need to make some updates to your website. Updates include information contained in existing accessibility statements and any logo/icon hosted on your site.
It is no longer accurate to state that eSSENTIAL Accessibility is your partner.

Updated accessibility statement templates
If you have a templated accessibility statement that references eSSENTIAL Accessibility posted on your site, we now have three updated templates reflecting our new name. These templates are tailored to the standards most relevant to your accessibility initiatives:
To replace your existing templated statement with this new language:
- Select the template statement most applicable to your organization from the options above.
- Copy the text of that template statement (including all hyperlinks) and replace current language on your existing accessibility statement web page.
- Insert the following customizations indicated by brackets:
- Insert the established testing standard reflected on the platform (for example, WCAG 2.0 / 2.1, A or AA) where [Insert Standard] is indicated. If you are unsure of the standard for your organization, please contact your CSM.
- Insert your organization’s name where [Client Name] is indicated.
- Insert a contact email address for your organization where [Insert E-mail] is indicated.
- Update the last updated date to your publish date using these brackets [YYYY-MM-DD].
If you currently have a custom accessibility statement posted, ensure you change any reference of eSSENTIAL Accessibility to Level Access.
Updates to the Level Access logo/icon
Alt text
Due to our name change to Level Access, we recommend that you use the following alt text to accurately describe our logo/icon going forward: alt="Level Access website accessibility icon.".
Level Access logo/icon URL
Our domain changed from essentialaccessibility.com to levelaccess.com, which has impacted the URL link from the Level Access logo/icon to your assistive technology (AT) landing page.
To update your current URL, change the domain name from "essentialaccessibility" to "levelaccess" and add "/a/" between "levelaccess" and your company name. Maintain your company name after ".com/".
Example:
Previous link: https://www.essentialaccessibility.com/company-name/
New link: https://www.levelaccess.com/a/company-name/
It is not necessary to include any specific UTM parameters that you may be utilizing.
