Access Engine is now available in the Level Access Platform

We are excited to share that Access Engine is now available in the Level Access Platform. Access Engine is the market’s most advanced automated testing engine and will improve upon our current accessibility testing capabilities. 

Our merger with Level Access positioned us to combine industry-leading technology with the deepest bench of accessibility expertise. Access Engine is a prime example of incorporating this best-of-the-best technology.  

With this update, ASLint is retired and no longer available. 

If ASLint is your default testing tool, you’ll notice the following changes:

• Your default testing tool will automatically change to Access Engine. 
• You will notice a change in a property’s health score because Access Engine provides a more comprehensive test. The change date will be indicated on your reports in the Level Access Platform. 
• All of your historical reporting data will remain unchanged in the platform.

If equal-access, Wave, or axe-core are your default testing tools, there is no change to any of your existing websites/apps. Please note that Access Engine will be the default testing tool for any new websites/apps created after this change. 

This update is another example of our commitment to providing our customers with the most robust digital accessibility platform, supporting customers as they scale their programs.
